                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1048
                   GRAYSVILLE ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   GRAYSVILLE ROAD SOUTHEAST OF EAST BRAINERD
                   ROAD, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO O-1 OFFICE
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1048 Graysville Road,
                being on the northeast line of Graysville Road
                southeast of East Brainerd Road.  Lot 26, Pittner's
                Addition to East Brainerd, as shown by plat of
                record in plat book 14, page 10, ROHC; being the
                property described in deed book 2593, page 364,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 171A-J-27.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to O-1 Office Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Dedication for 40 feet from centerline of the
                   right-of-way. 
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
